DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are likely this morning, mainly south of
a Rockford to Chicago and Valparaiso line. While no organized
severe weather is expected, some of these storms may produce
localized wind gusts to 45 mph and small hail, in addition to
brief heavy downpours.
